Trish Clowes, acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and “an improviser to be reckoned with” (Downbeat Magazine), is leader of the band MY IRIS and performs worldwide. Hailed as “the jazz of the future” (Augsburger Allgemeine), Trish has released numerous albums and earned various accolades including a British Composer Award in 2015.
Tonight’s vibrant set includes Another One (for Wayne) for the great Wayne Shorter, Radiant Resistance for a close group of Trish’s musician friends, For the Surrealists for artists such as Dorothea Tanning and Leonora Carrington, and Token.
